DTV300 USB DVB-T TV Stick FM/DAB/DAB+ Trouble Shooting Guide

1.How to install driver/software for DTV300 USB 2.0 DVB-T stick from the software CD manually?
1) Login as "Administrative" role
2) Uninsall existing driver/software
If you have installed driver/software for any other DVB-T devices, please uninstall them.
Please go to control-->add/remove programs-->uninstall the driver/software for any other DVB-T devices.
3) Please insert the enclosed software CD into the CD/DVD drive on your computer
4) Install the driver for DTV300
Please go to X:\Driver\setup.exe to intall it (X: is the CD/DVD drive on your computer)
If you get any warning message, please choose "Continue anyway"
5) Install the ArcSoft TotalMediaTotal 3.5
Please go to X:\TotalMedia\setup.exe to intall ArcSoft TotalMediaTotal 3.5 ((X: is the CD/DVD drive on your computer)
6) Install D. Radio (for you to listen to Digital Radio)
Please go to X:\DAB Soft\setup.exe ((X: is the CD/DVD drive on your computer)
7) Scan TV channels using Total Media 3.5
8) Scan digital radio channels using D. radio
9) please try to use rooftop TV aerial if the signal is not strong enough in your area by using the mini TV antenna
2. DTV300 Driver Download
1)Download driver (Download it now)
2)Unzip the downloaded driver zipfile
3)Run setup.exe and follow the screen to install the driver
4)Then plug the DTV300 USB 2.0 DVB-T stick into USB port on pc/laptop and wait for the computer configure the driver for the hardware.
3. Connection
please try to use rooftop TV aerial if the signal is not strong enough in your area by using the mini TV antenna

4. Remote Control does not work
Important: the remote control with the DVB-T Stick is designed for the enclosed Total Media 3.5. It is not designed for Windows Media Centre.
5. License Key does not work
All softwares in the box come with official license key. You do NOT need to buy another key.
Please do check the key when you enter it. Some customers made mistake in entering the following letters and number:
U, V, Z, L, 2, 1,B (they entered U as V, Z as 2, 1 as L, B as 8).
6. Can not receive TV channels
There may be difficulty to receive Freeview TV signal by the included portable antenna in some areas where the signal is not sufficiently strong. This is due to that the Freeview service in the UK is not fully operating yet.The reception will be improving along with the progress of Digital Switchover Program. A signal amplifier or booster may improve reception in regions where the signal is marginally strong. (please note that reception capability may also be affected by various factors such as proximity to Freeview TV/digital radio transmitters, tall building structures, thick walls, ceilings & etc.). A rooftop TV aerial may be required to receive Freeview in regions where the signal is insufficient for a portable antenna.

7. How to setup DTV300 DVB-T Stick with Windows 7 Media Centre to watch TV?
Please take the steps below to get it setup
1)Please install the driver first
2)Plug the DTV300 USB DVB-T Stick into the USB 2.0 port
3)Go to Windows 7 "Start"-->choose "All programs"--> run "Windows Media Centre"-->Choose "Tasks" from the menu
-->choose "Setting"-->Choose "TV"-->Choose "Setup TV signal"-->follow the instruction on the screen until "TV channel Scan".
4)When TV Channel Scan is completed, please go back to the TV menu, select "live TV" to watch TV or record it.

8. How to listen to the digital radio?
Please make sure the D.Raido software is installed successfully to receive digital ragio.
1)Insert the enclosed software CD into the CD/DVD drive
2)Right click the CD/DVD drive and choose "Explore"
3)Go to X:\DAB Soft and click setup.exe to install the D. Radio software. (X: is the cd/dvd drive on your computer)
4)Scan the digital radio channels by using D.radio software
5)Enjoy digital radio using D.radio
