Please make sure the connection is correct. ** Please make sure you connect the USB video capture to the OUTPUT port of your video source device. USB video capture does NOT work with the video input port on your video source device.** Could you please aslo check what video OUTPUT ports your video source supports? The video capture has both composite AV (yellow, red, white) female and Svideo female If the video OUTPUT port is svideo female, then you need to get a S-VHS (S-Video) extension lead (male to male). If the video OUTPUT port is composite AV (Yellow, red, white) female, then you need a RGB to RGB lead (male to male). If your video port is SCART, then you will need SCART to RGB convertor or cable. Please be advised that you ONLY need one of the following connections 1)Composite AV (yellow, red, white)+audio 2)Svideo +audio Please do NOT connect AV and Svideo at the same time. You only need one of them. 2. Please check and set your computer driver setting. 1) Select ¡®Start¡¯, 2) then select ¡®Control Panel¡¯, 3) then select ¡®Systems¡¯, 4) then ¡®Hardware¡¯, 5) then ¡®Drivers¡¯, 6) then ¡®Driver Signing¡¯, 7) Make sure the default is set to ¡®Warn¡¯ rather than ¡®Block¡¯, 8) Select OK. Then please start install the driver and software again. When loading the software and the message pops up informing that the software is not authenticated press continue. Software will then install OK and work fine. Close down Control Panel. 3. Please try to plug the USB video capture to a DIFFERENT USB 2.0 port. Does it work? (please be advised that the video capture does NOT work on USB 1.0 port) 6. How much FREE RAM on your pc/laptop? 7. How much FREE hard drive on your pc/laptop? 8. Please make sure all the cables are connected well. 9. For UK and Europe the Video format must be set to 'PAL_BDHIG' 10.The Video source must be set to either 'Composite' or 'Svideo' depending on which connector you are using (the yellow phono connector is Composite and the black mini-DIN connector is s-video) 11. File location The video files is located at "Pogram files/EZ Grabber/my videos" 1). Vista If your OS is Windows Vista, please go to "Pogram files/EZ Grabber" folder. Then at the top of the screen, please click "Compatibility Files", Both myPicture and MyVideos will be there. 2). XP If your OS is XP, please set your explorer to show "hidden files ans folders" a)go to "C:\Program Files\EZ Grabber" b)Please go to the top menu "Tools"->Folder options c)choose "View" and go to "Hidden Files and folders" and choose "Show Hidden files and folders"
