**If there is video/sound device, that means that driver has not been
installed successfully***

At the same time, please take the following steps to get it work.

1. Please make sure the connection is correct.

** Please make sure you connect the USB video capture to the OUTPUT
port of your video source device. USB video capture does NOT work
with the video input port on your video source device.**

Could you please aslo check what video OUTPUT ports your video source
supports? The video capture has both composite AV (yellow, red, white)
female and Svideo female

If the video OUTPUT port is svideo female, then you need to get a
 S-VHS (S-Video) extension lead (male to male). If the video OUTPUT port
 is composite AV (Yellow, red, white) female, then you need a RGB to RGB
 lead (male to male). If your video port is SCART, then you will need SCART
to RGB convertor or cable.

Please be advised that you ONLY need one of the following connections
1)Composite AV (yellow, red, white)+audio
2)Svideo +audio

Please do NOT connect AV and Svideo at the same time. You only need
one of them.


2. Please check and set your computer driver setting.
1)       Select ¡®Start¡¯,

2)       then select ¡®Control Panel¡¯,

3)       then select ¡®Systems¡¯,

4)       then ¡®Hardware¡¯,

5)       then ¡®Drivers¡¯,

6)       then ¡®Driver Signing¡¯,

7)       Make sure the default is set to ¡®Warn¡¯ rather than ¡®Block¡¯,

8)       Select OK.

Then please start install the driver and software again.

When loading the software and the message pops up informing that the
software is not authenticated press continue.

Software will then install OK and work fine. Close down Control Panel.

3. Please make sure the driver and software are installed successfully
 by following the detailed instructions in the user manual on the CD.

If your OS is windows 7 32bit, please set the driver path to driver32.


4. After the driver is installed, please plug the USB video capture to one
of
the USB 2.0 ports and go to
Control panel->Device manager->"sound, video and game controllers"  to check
if there is yellow mark beside "USB 2861 device" and "USB audio device" or
"USB EMP audio device "

If there is yellow mark, which means the driver is not installed 
successfully.

5. Please choose "USB 2861 device" as the video device and "USB audio
device" or "USB EMP
audio device " as the audio device when you record video and audio using the
VHS2DVD.

6. Could you please plug the USB video capture to a different USB 2.0 port
on your computer? Does it make any difference?

7. Please follow the quick start guide in the user manual to capture the
video from your computer to your laptop/pc

9. Capture/Edit/burn to your DVD

The easiest way to do is to use the VHS2DVD. It enables you
to record, edit and burn to your DVD.

10. You can access the 1. record 2. Edit 3. Burn button on the VHS2DVD to
make your VHS to DVD.

11. You can use one "One Touch Video Capture Application "
    to capture as well.

12. Please try to set the video format as PAL.

13. If you want to record xbox 360/PS3 in colour, please set the video 
record format as NTSC 4.33.
