Sorry to learn that the device did not work as you expected and any
inconvenience caused for you.

"no signal" means 1)the connection is not correct 2)driver is not installed
successfully 3)video source is standby mode 4)the correct video source
device has not
been set with ShowBiz DVD 2 5)the hardware is faulty

At the same time, please take the following steps to get it work

1. Please make sure the connection is correct.

** Please make sure you connect the USB video capture to the OUTPUT
port of your video source device. USB video capture does NOT work
with the video input port on your video source device.**

Could you please aslo check what video OUTPUT ports your video source
supports? The video capture has both composite AV (yellow, red, white)
female and Svideo female

If the video OUTPUT port is svideo female, then you need to get a
 S-VHS (S-Video) extension lead (male to male). If the video OUTPUT port
 is composite AV (Yellow, red, white) female, then you need a RGB to RGB
 lead (male to male). If your video port is SCART, then you will need SCART
to RGB convertor or cable.

Please be advised that you ONLY need one of the following connections
1)Composite AV (yellow, red, white)+audio
2)Svideo +audio

Please do NOT connect AV and Svideo at the same time. You only need
one of them.


2.Please check and set your computer driver setting.
1)       Select ¡®Start¡¯,

2)       then select ¡®Control Panel¡¯,

3)       then select ¡®Systems¡¯,

4)       then ¡®Hardware¡¯,

5)       then ¡®Drivers¡¯,

6)       then ¡®Driver Signing¡¯,

7)       Make sure the default is set to ¡®Warn¡¯ rather than ¡®Block¡¯,

8)       Select OK.

Then please start install the driver and software again.

When loading the software and the message pops up informing that the
software is not authenticated press continue.

Software will then install OK and work fine. Close down Control Panel.

After the driver is installed, please plug the USB video capture to one of
the USB 2.0 ports and go to
Control panel->Device manager->"sound, video and game controllers"  to check
if there is yellow mark beside "USB 2861 device" and "USB audio device" or
"USB EMP
audio device "

Yellow mark means the driver has not been installed corrected.
Please reinstall the driver

1).Insert the showbiz DVD to your CD-ROM
It should automatically startup the setup menu if not, please double click
autorun.exe.

2). Click the menu item "install driver" to install the driver
3). Please check in Device Manager if the yellow mark is still there after
you installed the driver.
If the yellow mark is still there, please install the audio driver manually
by following the following steps
a) Control panel->Device manager->"sound, video and game controllers"
b) Right click"usb audio device" and then click "update driver software"
c) Select "Browse my computer for driver software"
d) Select your CD/DVD drive where the ShowBiz DVD is
e) After the driver is installed successfully, it should show the audio
device as "USB EMP Audio device" under "sound, video and game controllers"

If your computer can not read the CD, please download the drivers for the
usb video capture at
http://www.help.climaxdigital.co.uk/accessories/videocapture/driver/ezcapsnapshotdriver.ZIP

5. Please choose "USB 2861 device" as the video device and "USB audio
device" or "USB EMP
audio device " as the audio device when you record video and audio using the
ShowBiz DVD 2.

6. Could you please plug the USB video capture to a different USB 2.0 port
on your computer?
   Does it make any difference?

7. Please follow the quick start guide in the user manual to capture the
video from your computer to your laptop/pc

8. Colour recording for PS3/Xbox 360

  Please set the record video format as NTSC 4.33 in the ShowBiz DVD 2 if
you'd like to record PS3/Xbox 360 in colour.
