just what I needed to save all my old video 8 films and get them onto cd's plus the fact that I could edit out all the rubbish,
good value for the money

I've been looking for something like this for a while. Thought it worth a try at the price. I needed a Scart/RCA Phono adaptor and a lead for my video player but once I got those it worked straight away. I used Windows Movie Maker as well as the supplied software. Excellent product.

No problem with install or use of this product - running on Vista 32 bit with no issues. Haven't tried the snapshot button yet but video capture and edit from a mini DV camcorder is fine. Would recommend this product to all.

Very easy to use once the Audio and video/picture devices are activated.
It is a pity this is not automatically done but this an Arcsoft problem.

Running XP on my laptop. Initially I had some problem with the sound but its working fine now. I used it transfer video capture from my camcorder but I haven't tried to capture live broadcast from my D-box which I will try soon. Overall I am happy with the product.

Initially intending just to record audio only I purchased the wrong product and spent a whole day trying to get it to work, which it actually never was. After contacting Climax, I was acquainted with this fact and immediately offered an exchange. I decided to purchase the Audio-only version and was immediately told that if this one didn't do what I wanted then I could return both for a complete refund. The audio one did exactly what it says on the box so I am sure that the Video one will too so am keeping both. Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong - software is pretty straightforward too if you've got the slightest computer aptitude. All in all very pleased with both the products and the service received, oh and both items arrived the day after I placed the order. Well done - highly recommended

Easy to use and did everything I wanted of it transferring vhs tapes. Ran on Vista with no problems
