I replaced a twin cable cat 5 balun with this unit as was having problems with my matrix getting confused. The power supply on the sender solved the problems

Having tried HDMI over mains and struggled with drop outs and system lag, this unit is a vast improvement. Used 30m of external Cat6 cable run outside the building and using existing Sky RF2 link for the remote control. Plugged in and a couple of seconds later fantastic picture. Would have given five stars but for the red LEDs on the units being too bright for a bedroom, black tape came to the rescue covering the LED and light leakage from the cases.

Easy to install and as using cat6 cable result was very good.
Used for connecting dvd player to HD projector.
