The 2 HDMI output program can be from different HDMI sources or from the same HDMI source. The Matrix technology enables you to route the HDMI input of your choice to the output your choice. For example, you can display HD DVD on display 1 while PS3 is being showed on display 2. You are also allowed to show HD DVD on both display 1 and display 2 simultaneously. Any four to any two matrix switching allows for maximum versatility for integrated systems. The 4x2 True Matrix HDMI Switcher-Splitter eliminates the need to remove and replace the cables between the selected HDMI sources and the desired displays. Every source is accessible at all times by any display by selecting it with an IR remote, RS232, LAN and buttons on the panel. CCHM0402V3P 4K HDMI Matrix 4 X 2 also has stereo audio output port (R/L or Red/white) and digital SPDIF from HDMI Output A and Output B. It enables you connect the audio from HDMI output A or output B to external speaker or amplifier.
4K→1080P downscaler enables you to connect both 4K and 1080P TV/Display. It is userful when the HD source device is 4K and one of the HDTV can only supports up to 1080P.
It comes with advanced EDID management and ARC (Audio Return Channel)
The Matrix Switcher can automatically control the display device using RS232, CEC or IR when the last input signal is lost, or
when the first video input is detected. This switcher can be controlled from the front panel, RS232, IR, or LAN.
Wall mountable design makes instllation much easier.
